These 12" mantels are your choice from 4-6' long and are 12" wide
Our mantels are all kiln dried pine which have been hand hewn to add that extra rustic flare.
Each has knots and plenty of character in the wood.
Mantels can be supplied with a pair of custom scribed round log cradles (optional) for mounting.

Our custom shoppe does all they can to produce a high quality, premium 1/2 log mantel for you. Each are hand selected and crafted for by our wood shoppe's custom team of woodworkers. Please note that our mantels are made from natural wood and not all are alike. They are very unique in themselves alone. Some contain more knots then others, some will have check marks (small cracks), some will not. Log mantels are not the only custom wood product that we produce and are not a stock item. Each is custom made per your order and will take roughly 2-4 weeks to manufacture before shipping. We will make every effort to contact you in the event that your order will run longer then the 4 weeks.....(prefinished mantels add 2 weeks)
Finishing?
Our mantels are provided unfinished or prefinished with clear Lacquer (please allow an additional 2 weeks timeframe for prefinish). Each log mantel has been kiln dried to 10-12% moisture content and are ready to accept a clear coat or stain of your choosing.
Corbels/Cradles
Each set of custom scribed cradles includes (4)-6" & (4)-8" timber screws for mounting (added 12-11-07)
