All of our pre-finished w/stain pine paneling is tongue-n-groove and end-matched for zero-waste. Yes, the cost is higher than our prefinished clear coated paneling, but the color staining process is labor intensive with hand application and rubbing.

The color stain is applied, followed with 2 coats of clear coat, for a smooth finish and seal. Each board is sanded prior to the application of each coat of stain and clear finish. These finishes provide a furniture grade finish in the end with the smoothness of a baby's you know what.

These are not 4'x8' sheets of "Old School" paneling, but individual boards that are 3/4" thick. They all have tongue & groove all the way around for an easy to install, no-waste product. Bring in the warmth of real wood paneling with tons of character to any room or home!

"White-Washed" Knotty Pine Paneling has been a standard of ours for many years. White Wash stain (sometimes known as pickeling stain) allows for the real wood grain & knots to show through, but at the same time offers a white look or stain that brightens up any room. Commonly used on ceilings, but also popular on the walls.

Each piece
of our pre-finished paneling has our unique tongue-n-groove design on the ends of the paneling boards as well as the length. You do not need to butt end matched paneling or siding on a stud. This significantly reduces the amount of measuring and cutting in each job. The results are 15-20% labor savings and up to 20% less material waste.Each piece of pre-finished paneling is 3/4" thick and has been defected at our production mill for loose knots or cracks. The majority of the paneling are 8 footers, but there are a random assortment of shorter pieces. These smaller pieces mix in well and give your paneling an overall desirable look. All our paneling is kiln dried to 6-8% moisture content.

Shipping (please read all sections below!!!)
is provided by Fed-Ex Freightways or XPO Logistics. Our company ships large quantities daily with each carrier and our shipping discounts are passed on to you the customer! For orders in excess of 1500 sq. ft., we have our own delivery service that may be the more economical choice. Please call for more info and a detailed pricing quote. (800-818-9971)


Each order
that is shipped by our carriers will take from 4-6 weeks to have your paneling order pulled from unfinished stock, stained to your color selection, clear coated, stacked & cured, re-stacked/packaged & then shipped See below for current lead times.


Stained & Clear Coated:
1x6 knotty pine white wash+clear end-matched paneling (most often in stock) - Call us for stock status
1x6 knotty pine custom stain+clear end-matched paneling  - 4-6 weeks

You will be provided with a tracking number at shipment so that you can get an idea of when your shipment will be arriving. If you have any questions, please phone us before placing your order.


How will my order arrive? IMPORTANT!!!
Freight Shipments are delivered by small enclosed semi-trucks to the end of your driveway at roadside. If your street/driveway is winding through the woods, not snow plowed or is inaccessible for the freight truck, your delivery might be to the nearest point of access. You can also set up off-loading with a local lumber yard in some cases. Another option is to pick your package(s) up at the local Fed-Ex or XPO Terminal by pick-up truck or trailer.

You must be able to off-load the material YOURSELF in a timely manner (15 minutes) and would require that you have adequate/able bodies on-hand (2-3) to hand unload if a fork lift was not available at your delivery location.

THERE ARE NO LIFT_GATES AVAILABLE ON THESE TRUCKS!!!

The drivers have many other destinations, so your cooperation is very helpful.

 

1/4 Unit Package Sizes
The 220 square foot packages on their own weigh approximately 495 lbs. each and are 9' long.
Packages over the 220 sq. ft. will still be 9' long, but will be larger and the width will never exceed 48".

Once "Multiple 1/4 Unit Packages" are purchased together on the same order, the packages will be combined together to make one single package. Up to 4 quarter units will be combined into a one full unit pallet. The same grouping for purchases in excess of 5 or more 1/4 units will occur. Once 4 of the 5 units are combined to make a full unit, the excess/extra 1/4 units will be packaged on their own or combined as described below.

(Example 1): Say (8), 1/4 units were purchased together. These would be combined into 2 full units of 4 each that will look like the image below.

(Example 2): Say (Six), 1/4 units were purchased together. Then (4) of the (Six) 1/4 units on the total order would be combined into 1 full unit pallet of 4. Then, the remaining 2 packages on the order, would be combined to make a separate 1/2 unit pallet.

So, all packages (1/4 unit on up to a full unit of 4) will fit into the back of a standard pick-up truck with room between the wheel wells. Keep in mind the weight that your pick-up truck, fork-lift or trailer can handle for your size load if you are transporting these units. (Possibly picking up at the freight carriers terminal?)

(1) 1/4 unit weighs 495 lbs. including packaging for freight.
(2) 1/4 units weigh 884 lbs. including packaging for freight.
(3) 1/4 units weigh 1,296 lbs. including packaging for freight.
(4) 1/4 units (1 full unit) weighs 1650-1800 lbs. including packaging for freight.
***These weights are approximate***

A full unit, which consists of (4) of the 220 sq. ft. (1/4 unit) packages would weigh between 1650-1800 lbs. and would measure approximately 9' long x 48" wide x 32-36" high.

Damages?
Each driver is aware of the packages and the condition of each as you off-load. In the unlikely event that you notice any apparent damage, have the damages noted on the delivery receipt by the Driver before you sign and call The Log Home Shoppe/The Woodworkers Shoppe immediately to have your replacements sent out and to have the claim processed. You must contact us within 10 days of receipt of the damaged materials.
