PPG Proluxe Premium DEK Wood Finish is a high performance, alkyd high solids translucent satin finish for decks. Translucent Iron Oxide Pigments and UV Absorbers-Combination gives high performance UV protection, Preventing greying and deterioration. Excellent Microporosity and Flexibility - Prevents blistering and cracking due to expansion and contraction or moisture build up.

The name and label have changed from Sikkens Cetol DEK Finish, but the formula is the same!

Surface and Air temperature - 50*-95*F (10*-35*C)
Coverage - Smooth wood - 350-450 sq. ft./gallon
Drying Time - Recoatable in 24 hours minimum at 68*F (20*C) and 65%relative humidity. At temperatures below 50*F (10*C), or conditions of high humidity, the drying time will be extended.

Shipping Details

Shipping is provided by Fed-Ex Ground for single gallon purchases and many times ships the same business day. Most always in 1-3 business days. All gallon cans will have a protective plastic ring applied to the lid ring for shipping.


Purchases of 1-2 five gallon pails will also ship by Fed-Ex Ground in a special full protective cardboard container. Purchases of 3 or more 5 gallon pails will most likely ship by Fed-Ex Freightways on a pallet and can take 2-3 days for packaging.
