Cetol Maintenance is a premium, translucent, non-pigmented clear exterior finish to be used over existing Cetol 23 Plus or Cetol Log & Siding as a maintenance coat. Typically with maintenance coats, pigmented products will further darken the wood. Not so with a one coat application of Cetol Maintenance, the wood will remain the same color! The high solids alkyd resin and UV Absorbers add High performance UV Protection, Preventing greying and deterioration of the wood surface. Excellent microporosity and flexibility minimizes blistering and cracking due to expansion and contraction or moisture build-up. Usually ships in 1-3 days, quite often same day. Application:
Surface and Air temperature - 50*-95*F (10*-35*C)
Coverage - Smooth wood - 300-400 sq. ft./gallon
                 Rough wood - 150-225 sq. ft./gallon
Drying Time - 24 hours minimum at 68*F (20*C) and 65%relative humidity. At temperatures below 50*F (10*C), or conditions of high humidity, the drying time will be extended.
